White House South Lawn

Previously open to the public, this private forum is the location of numerous White House events each year, including the ever-popular Easter Egg Roll.
12th Hole at Augusta National
Arguably one of the most famous locales in golf, the 12th hole at Augusta National (Georgia) is adored by avid sport fans and grass aficionados alike. This tricky par 3 features Bermuda grass tee boxes and bent grass greens, and is home to the annual Master’s golf championship.
The Eiffel Tower / Champ de Mars
The Eiffel Tower is one of the most highly recognized landmarks in the world. Its expansive lawn, part of the Champ de Mars, is just one of its many selling features. This grassy field provides a leisurely hangout spot for both tourists and Parisian locals. You can’t beat the view!
The Great Lawn in Central Park
Located in the middle of Central Park (from 79th-85th Street), this 55-acre green space is one of the most famous lawns in the world. In addition to being the home to many outdoor music shows, this lush, green field provides opportunities for picnicking, playing Frisbee, or catching a much-needed afternoon nap.
Composed entirely of rye grass, Wimbledon’s grassy tennis courts are one of its most distinctive features. In fact, Wimbledon is the only major tournament that is still played on grass.
No matter your favorite green space, be sure and head outdoors this season and enjoy all that nature has to offer!
